Although the shrimp would be coming from petco would purchasing it at 50% off, so $12 be a good deal and should I get him. I only have a few small corals, snail's, hermits, and a black clown fish at the moment.

How long has the tank been set up for? $12 is a great deal on those guys but having the tank set up for at least a couple months is recommended

It's been up since late October but haven't added any fish until a few days ago with a clown.

As long as you're reading 0 ammonia 0nitrite and <30 ppm Nitrate I say go for it... be sure to acclimate the shrimp for about 30 mins, drip acclimation is preferable

I love mine. My favorite creature in the tank. Anytime I put my hand in to do something it jumps on me and starts cleaning.
