Should I Put These Clips In My Tank?

Hello There

Got these two clips from PETCO today. The metal is stainless steel. Anyone try these clips. Will they leach? Will be using them for Nori feedings. Thanks to you all.

They will rust...even though it states stainless steel....I used them...took several months but they started rusting

I use the Two Little Fishies brand nori clip and I really like it

i have tried a variety of clips. anything metal will rust, the cheaper 'stainless' stuff all the faster. most of the cheap 'stainless' is a 304, 308 variety of stainless steel and it will absolutely rust. Similarly, suction cups have a short lifespan in a tank. The magnetic 'two little fishies' clip has lasted going on 2 years now though and i would highly recommend it.

I also use the Two Little Fishies nori clip. Works great and no exposed metal.
