These guys are in my coral guy's tank, he got them from another customer or something. He says they're scolys and they do look like it. They look pretty trashed. Lots of skeleton showing, at least in this tank, and I don't even know if it's possible to bring them back around when they're this far gone.
A. Do you think they're Scolymia?
B. Should I try to recover them, is it possible?

Absolutely try to save them, if they are offering them for free.

Ya, you can save those. May want to start with putting them in a small container like some Tupper wear every couple of days and feed them a combination of Reef Energy and Coral Frenzy. Just put a little in the water - you will see them respond to the Reef Energy as soon as they hit the water. After a couple of weeks they should be looking better.
