I am applying new silicone to some parts of my tank that I bought used just in case, I washed the tank with vinegar and water and I left it outside to dry for a few days. Should I clean it with acetone or alcohol or something to really make sure it is clean? I have scraped it with a razor and cleaned it with vinegar. Should I do anything else before I apply silicone?

+1 with Saltyreef

As long as you have scraped all the silicone, I would definitely wipe it down with alcohol.

Please make sure NOT to the mold & mildew resistant silicone.
