Should I worry about this chip in my glass?

CADE 1500 S2. 15mm glass. I noticed this the other day, and today I finally had some time to get a closer look at it. Do I need to worry about it? I don't love the lines radiating from it.

Dang. That was an expensive "oops".
Sorry buddy only thing is contact a glass shop but because how far they split it’s likely needed to be replaced other option you have is replacing the front panel of the tank I remember vetteguy mentioned he has done before so maybe ask for some tips

I think I'd rather let someone else make this chip their project. I'll probably just get a replacement.

Is it near the top? Where exactly is it on the tank? I got a Nick like that in my 275 and it’s fine.. I don’t have those hairline fractures thou.

It's about 8"/200mm from the top.

As someone said in another thread: "they don't call 'em runners for nothing".

Does it help that this chip is tiny? Is epoxy repair an option?

Here's a pic with a tape measure. Note the scale is in cm.

I'd say the main body of the chip is less than 1mm in diameter.

That's what I was wondering about. I know Safelite and similar places use vacuum pumps to get epoxy down into the cracks.
I'd be curious to know if this would work. although it might not, due to the pressure of the water in the tank

Ya... I'm not sure the risk/benefit is favorable enough for me to try that. Seems like replacing the panel is the best option for repair. I'm probably just going to replace the tank in that case. Man this is going to be expensive.

So it goes.

I wouldnt risk that. Once you add water, and then flow, thats going to have constant erratic pressure. Itll cost you less in the long run to just replace it. And possibly a divorce when your wife wakes up to a flooded living room
