This morning I woke up to find my skimmer had overskimmed some, or might have just produced too dry of skimmate and the foam had overflowed over into sump, I don't know how much. I cleaned up and did a 50 gal water change. My levels are:

Salinity: 1.025
PH: 8.0-8.2 DAILY
ALK: 8.07
CAL:460
Mag: 1350
Nitrate 12.5
Phos: .03- .07
I have trident doing testing and salifert on Nit and Phos...
Apex to monitor.
I dont know how long it was going for but noticed weird things on my sps...

I have lost a few pieces here and there, but my montis look weird, for a couple days now tho... but some feeders are out on other acres and not out on some... just noticed my stellata looking odd and my grafted month a very small hint of lighter color than usual.

Just want to make sure that skimmate overflow may cause some sps to take their feeder out... all the LPS look normal

Skimmer overflowing i do not think is not the cause. It’s a symptom. Skimmers usually overflow because of something in the tank. I could dump the skimmate from mine right now into the tank and the acros really won’t care. My 2 cents!

Yeah. That was my initial guess too, had it in the past from like rotifers or food that requires skimmer off... but last night we had company over and my guess is someone overced the fish or threw some food for the fish in the tank without me knowing... cause the skimmer never overskims that way on its own.

For now I did a water change and threw some carbon in sump.
