Today I received a yellow belly blue hippo tang that I purchased online. I did my research folks. I’ve kept saltwater and freshwater for almost 35 years. Worked in an LFS that was top of the line for my area for years. I’ve dealt with all kinds of sellers from individuals to wholesalers. There is good and bad in this industry as there is in all retail. I am super stoked to have met Adam Sklar at Oceandevotionla. From the moment I contacted him to the moment of joy when my tang ate it’s first bite (30 seconds in!), my experience was first rate! I was shown a video of the tang eating and swimming. I got to see his fat little belly and his brilliant color. Knowing, after talking to him, that his qt was a measure above most everyone else, I hit the send payment button. Overnight delivery was right on time. He contacted me countless times for 2 days making sure that I was prepared and knew what I was getting. I knew the foods it was eating (everything!! Lol) and the conditions it was kept under. Buying online doesn’t have to be scary, you just have to find the right source, in my case Adam is the best choice. I can’t speak highly enough of my experience with Oceandevotionla. I have just added a new family member to the household and I couldn’t be happier!! Buy from this guy!!

So, all of the livestock in our tank only come from Adam! He's the absolute best. I won't buy fish from anyone else. No one. So glad you bought from him. Also, here's a pic of our yellow belly that we got from Adam. Her name is Ellen. :)

Ours is Fiona. Namesake from the baby hippopotamus at the cincy zoo! Lol. Adam is great!

That’s about how big ours was when we got her. She’s now like 2.5” and I want her to stop growing. Lol
