I have always been a fan of bubble corals which I consider undervalued by many. While in my LFS on Friday I saw a rather nice one about 6" inflated. I had the perfect setting for it on the sand in relatively slow flow. Took till today to fully inflate so I took the pic below, it has a nice greenish tinge to it and the pic is a pretty good representation of the colour I have to say. Let's see you Bubble corals.

Here are my two, pearl green and a red. Both from divers den. I also want to get a neon green, and also a pink one when I find a couple good ones.

Nice and red ones here are not so common

Saw it on divers den first one I had ever seen so I figured why not??? It's hard to tell from the pics, but it is mainly red with a touch of green sheen to it. Now as long as I don't kill it!!

Here are my 2 bubble beauties! The first pic is of a regular pink bubble, and the other 2 are of my gigantic pearl bubble. These corals are about 22 and 23 years old.
Beauties. I don't think bubble corals enjoy the popularity of some other LPS and are underrated by many.

I have been constantly snipping mine as I have the branching variety to get as many out as possible but I think I will let mine grow out to a nice colony.

That's massive!!

The living crown is impressive, but I wish I could post a video here tomorrow so I could show the skeletal base left behind since 1995! I’ve fragged many pieces from the sides, but the base goes down to 4 inches from the bottom of the tank and is very porous and aged live rock!
