Everyone has that one coral that for some reason grows way better than the rest. Oftentimes it makes sense, its a hardy easy coral. Sometimes in a strange turn of events its a more expensive or rare coral that just loves your tank for some reason. Lets see some "expensive weeds" that seem to love your setup!

I have been considering a anenome clownfish tank tied into my system down in the basement. Never kept them before!

Be careful! I had ONE rainbow BTA, and I now have over 50! They are literally taking over my tank!

They dont shoot out spores like aiptasia though. They just split correct? So as long as I contain then to a seperate tank, thats tied into my system I should be fine?

Correct! The first time mine split, it was into 3, then 6, and so on. You should be fine. I am going to get rid of a lot of mine simply because I do not want them killing any of my corals. But for anemone and fish only tank, they will be awesome.

Nems!
I had 9 nems in my 35 nem system at one time. I rehomed some when they started splitting.
I got down to 2 long tentacles and put one small bubble in my frag system.
The 2 are doing well with the pair of naked clowns. They both split now and I have 4.

I am a new reefer and everyone told me how hard they are to take care of and I still put one in my tank 3 months in. And it’s an expensive one at that. My tank crashed and it still stayed alive and also it GREW? For some reason nothing does well in my tank but the Colorado sunburst 😂

They are beautiful! I'm gonna have to do some research to figure out what would be best for an anenome+clown tank

Simple clown system. 35g RS170 with, live rock, 5 fish, snails, crabs, large hammer and now 4 nems.
I moved the hammer and the nems keep their distance.
System is 15 months.

Yes they can get big. I would rather have 1-2 large than a tank full of small ones though. They grow like weeds if happy.
The lfs where I got mine have a 150 that is over run with nems.
They can't sell them fast enough.

This is the bubble I removed and put in my 50g frag system.

I really need to create a need for a frag tank soon 😅 I upped my lighting recently so hopefully I start getting too many frags for racks in my tank haha
