Pictures?? These are two new eels?
Sadly the video didn't load so I'll try again, 3 eels!

I believe the black moray to be muraena augusti but I am not sure

But any idea on the one with the injured nose?

It’s definitely not an Exhidna species as the head shape is that of a Gymnothorax I think. G Flavoculus would be my best guess but I think the face is wrong.
Here’s a wild E catenata I found

That is a beautiful catenata! Nice find!

The flavoculus is beautiful but definitely not the one I have! But I'll try putting up a thread to know which eel this was since I do need to know it's max size to plan a future tank

The gray faced and this eel have been doing well together in quarantine, I put the dark moray in a different tank since he was bigger

I can't wait for these to go in the 60! These are a bit smaller about 14 inches so I believe that they will do well for about a year or 2 in which I'll be making another 130g ready

Can't wait to show them in the quarantine tank! (Dont mind the title)

Can't get the black moray to come out as much but these two are amazing!

No it’s not. African dragon moray. Not too common. Thanks
It’s beautiful
Thought it might have been a Gymnothorax meleagris which is my favorite moray eel

I've been looking for it for a while now and literally nothing, is it that rare? Is it only found in Hawaii? That Hawaii list better also have the white eel in it

Really similar! But no, it's a high fin moray eel (gymnothorax pseudothyrsoideus)

How come is pete selling it for only 20 dollars and at another site it's over 1k?
If I knew earlier I would've probably contacted petes aquariums instead of paying over 800

I have seen what people claim to be one but it’s obviously a sister species. I saw them in Hawaii and they were magnificent so I imagine they are only found there or at least hard to find anywhere else

I asked a local dealer here if he could get it and he said that it might be even over 4k dollars if he tried so i instead just sticked with the high fin, Lol (eels are gonna make me bankrupt)

Not sure. But I wont order an eel from him again. Ghost was from him and she had 3 knife like slashes on her head and body. I wasnt sure she would make it to be honest but I got her to pull through!

I knew that ghost had quite the injury but i didn't know that it was from petes aquariums, i guess the cheap prices are quite justified now since I am sure that I'll spend more money on meds Lol

Sure looks like eel paradise haha

Just saw my gray face try to go for the damsels which I had quarantine with him which I didn't expect, thought i had to wait a week before he eats, so right now I am thawing out some anchovies!
