Nice! That's a bucket-list fish for me . . . and probably the only noodle of doom I could bring home without getting scolded by the missus. My newest friend![]()

Oh he got me good when I was transferring him to the tankNice! That's a bucket-list fish for me . . . and probably the only noodle of doom I could bring home without getting scolded by the missus.

Yikes! Did you have a doc check out the bite? Better safe than sorry. You never know what nastiness lurking in an eel's teeth.Oh he got me good when I was transferring him to the tankNice! Nah Im just watching it for now. Ive gotten bit several times (accidents when I feed them cause I hand feed)Yikes! Did you have a doc check out the bite? Better safe than sorry. You never know what nastiness lurking in an eel's teeth.
All three of the species lumped in the "yellow head moray" moniker tend to be curmudgeonly. Although, I did see a video of divers sitting on the ocean floor interacting with a "friendly" undulated moray. I couldn't help thinking if that had been my undulated, that video would've turned into a horror story about two minutes in.![]()
I love interacting with them so the risk of being bit is one Ill take! This is Loki, he is my most interactive eel! Loki rocks!Nah Im just watching it for now. He loves scratches
Yeah! He is a goofy eel. He nd Ghost were exploring this morning!Loki rocks!
That is fun to watch. Only one of mine, Buttercup, comes out to explore regularly. Gollum usually just pokes his head out. Even during feedings, most of his body stays in the rocks.Yeah! He is a goofy eel. He nd Ghost were exploring this morning!Loki rocks!

Oh wow!!! Look at that cute little one!!Bumping this.
My Brazilian bioluminescent eel is a cool looking one that glows a neon green under UV light. He shares a 330 gal. with a Dwarf Golden Hawaiian eel and a Snowflake. I'm currently looking at getting a Yellow mouthed Moray this weekend.

where did you find a yellow mouth??? Been looking for one for a while! Or the golden tail version of the banana eel
That's a beautiful (and tough) fimby! Keep the pics coming.I was finally able to get a decent sized gymnothorax fimbriatus! (He was also the eel who earned an achievement for surviving 8.5 days in a bag due to shipment delay)
