Auto feeder 4x a day PE pellets since I got him.
I feed other stuff randomly along with seaweed.
Bought it from NY Aquatics. Was easy to get to start eating because I made the tank around it such as Billy was the first fish in the tank and no others added until he was comfortable.

Would love to try 1 but don't think it would be possible as i got 2 tangs established

You could remove the tangs for a few months till the idol got established. Mine lived with a yellow and a kole for a year.

Don't have anywhere to put them tbh my tangs are not too aggressive with new comers i just put a mirror up for the PBT for a day and usually fine after that
