With all this killer aquascaping, I have to ask; how do you get the rocks to stack together, aside from just balancing?

I know I've seen some folks talk about super glue?

What kind of anenomes do you have in this tank?

The large one on the left, where the clowns are spawning, is S. gigantea. The green one on the bottom right is S. haddoni. Near the end of the video, in the upper right, is H. magnifica. There's also E. crucifer and S. tapetum in the tank.

My 180 Peninsula...
From the overflows to the freestanding rock return column is a ridge of rock caves with a spray bar return to keep flow within moving.

Looks great! We have similar rock that is sharp, the coral will not have as large surface area to grow thick base - If you take a look at my pictures you will see I added some epoxy and blended it into the rockwork. too many times I see nice colonies with small branches, This is my observation and feel it does not get enough attention from hobbyist.

I have thought about redoing mine. At night my fish hide so well can't find them. Lots of open space in the rock work and full swimming in front and behind the rock work. May just leave it as my corals are encrusted well. 250 gallon display setup about 15 months.

not to side track this great thread, but how do you reach things on the bottom of this tank^^^^ i have a 31" tall tank that im building and im wondering how im going to be putting zoas and other corals on the sandbed
it is hard to reach the bottom on a tank that deep with your hands.

Thank you :D I made most of my rock myself (DIY). I agree with you that sharpness can cause small a base to the coral. Most of my acropora have thick bases because I made ledges under them for them to encrust heavily :)

I've decided to scratch the epoxy... I Think I plan on making frag plugs out of the many extra rocks i have and just glue corals to the larger flat surface. The rough surface will be epoxied onto the rock - This rock its difficult to tell where the plugs are placed so I think this will make it easy to re-plug them giving a natural look and being easier to remove.

I messed around with my aquacape today. This is only about 40Lb if not less.
