It’s one thing to look at allot of pretty tanks. But lets be honest, the creative genius is what goes on under and behind or the tank.

I won’t kid you.. I’m looking to steal ideas from all you mad scientists. But all you folks with some plain jane stock sumps should post em too. We gotta start some place.

Here’s mine, still under construction.

Also looking for ideas... yet to add ATK and have a nyos torq but not sure what to run in it yet.
Would adding bio blocks and live rock be beneficial? Battling high nitrates but can’t get chaeto to grow and took off refugium light.

I’ll play.
Mines simple. But it works for me. I’d have to be having a real bad day to mess anything up.
Skimmer, carbon reactor, rock, temp probe, kalk line, filter pad and the necessities.

I would also like to steal some ideas from this thread. I feel like my sump is under utilized. :)

A rare photo of the back of my sump. There used to be a freshwater tank behind this so I had not seen it for years.I have a pair of Engineer gobies inside, hence the ant farm look.Otherwise a clown fish, skimmer, return and a assortment of coral that I am hoarding.

Redesigned 20 gal high with chaeto chamber, modded ASM skimmer, return pump with flow split to mini BRS reactor for GAC, phosphate sponge, whatever I wish. Kalk enters on right from basement via dosing pump and ATO enters in return pump section on left.
