Here are some of mine, i love that they are so quirky. I do have some 15" giants in my tank I love the weird ones more.

My friend @badsmitty recently passed. I was entrusted with his black tang. After 2 months of QT and moving some fish around the tang finally made the sps display. He put the pb hybrid in its place immediately.

All my tangs are pretty decent size no serious aggression with each other. I have 6 tangs in reef. 72.3" x 30" x 26". I have maculiceps, Powder blue, orange shoulder, purple, desjardini, gem tang. Would it be possible to add a bristletooth species? If so which would y'all recommend. I ask this cause I noticed none of my current tangs really graze on my rocks. I'm not trying to use them as a main source of algae control. I would like to just keep a fish that would graze on my rocks as another source of algae control.

Normally Purple tang looses their spots as the grow older and larger. In the past my purple tangs only retain their facial spots. I find that my current Purple tang retains his beautiful spots all over the body. I think this is highly unusual. I always have Purple tang in my tank but because they are so long live, I don’t have that much exposure to many of them. Less than a handful over the years.
I know that the spots are highly med dependent. I wonder if any longtime Purple tang keepers like to comment on this observation. I would love to hear about your experiences. I do find that these spots greatly contribute to the beauty of the Purple tang. My Purple tang at 5 inches. This picture show all the spot pattern on my PT.

My Yellow tang is as fat as he can be. Bulky muscle and he has these line on his body, seem like equivalent of six-pack on human abdomen. Anybody have tangs with similar finding. Here is a picture of what I am taking about. I don't think these are actual ridges on his body, but just coloration when the light is at certain angle.
The indented lateral lines is actually real. His body at the dorsal and abdomen are thicker than the body at the lateral line. Often in emaciated fishes lateral line stick out because of atrophy of the muscle in the dorsal area. In this yellow tang, it is the opposite.

Wow!!!! Purples and Sohals are my favorite tangs. Thinking of it I like Gems too. All red sea tangs That is a gorgeous purple. Take it from someone who stocks 100s a time. You have quite the looker!!!!!!!!

I really like the desjardinii sailfin. They have super cool personalities. I love it how quick they are to flash those enormous fins. Super cute little fish. What is he 4 inches mouth to tail?

NICEEEEEEEE! Stop tempting me!!! Hawaii is still closed for import of yellows, but we are hoping the ban will be lifted in the next few months. gorgeous specimen! WOW LOVE IT!!!!!!
