The P2S model with AMS? That's the one I was looking at. How do you design stuff?
IMO the AMS isnt a strict requirement, although it is a convenient way to store filament and keep it dry. The P2S is what id tell every beginner to get, it'll print most materials you want to, but for reefing PETG is your friend. PLA will break down over time and ABS releases nasty chemicals when printing. I personally use Solidworks to design stuff, but Fusion360 is also popular (and free iirc). Both have a ton of tutorials available online. For that controller board, I used the multiboard generator and multiconnect part generator, so no CAD was needed, I just put in the parameters for dimensions and generated the parts. If people want a guide on how they can do this themselves, I can do a longer writeup with step-by-step instructions, as well as share some of the models I generated for the controllers I use.
