No torches. Thats a long tentacle toadstool.

Middle is a devils hand been in the tank since December 2014

Left is finger leather and the toxic green nepthea.
 
My last large tank was a 180 gallon, and I ran it with a Sump, Protein Skimmer, Chiller, UV Sterilizer, Heater, Metal Halides, and just about every other piece of equipment you can think of.
BUT... more and more, I'm seeing Ree

fers who are successfully running small and large reef aquariums "without a Sump", or some of the other traditional equipment that we who have been in the hobby for a while have always used.
SO... if you do not use a Sump in your reef aquarium, please share your tank with us - especially if you have a tank that is 40 gallons or above.

Mine was inherited a 40 use a light called a Razor, have seen similar only three colors , and low intensity , use fluval canister filter, HOB Eshopps skimmer 1 power head. One fish mushrooms , no dosing, water change every week 6 litres. heater
