Love the custom Led. Here's my tank on it's 4th day cycle. Will be adding the Ai Prime HD and upgrading 3rd chamber/Protein Skimmer chamber to the intank media basket. Also added an MP10 wavemaker. Any suggestion with my aquascape?

Looks really nice, may want to go a little lower with the arch if you want to, you will be surprised how fast it fills up.

yea i really want to hear from others as well.
i need to siphon the rear chambers they have some buildup on the bottom of all three chambers.
i made a media basket out of some egg crates where i keep filter floss on the top shelf followed by purigen then chemi pure blue in the second shelf. i threw the biomax that came with the tank in the middle chamber. i want to upgrade the lights to a mini tide it seems to be a really good light. but corals seem happy with the marine orbit so if it aint broke dont fix it right.

The media baskets from inTank work very well for these tanks (I have 2). It forces the water through all of the media in chamber 1, which their basket is 3 levels, or you can remove the middle level and have a big gap between.

I only use these tanks as QT tanks, so they're not setup right now. But I've read the Fluval PS2 skimmer is terrible. You might want to try that little glass skimmer Marine Depot came out with that uses a limestone air block. You can fit it in any chamber and will probably lift the crap up off the floor in the back. It already has good reviews on their site for nanos. Only thing is there's no collection cup so you have to drain it in a Gatorade bottle or something.

All - curious if anyone put anything below the chamber where the overflow chamber is; where the skimmer reside if one is installed? Seems like a rather good space for something.

I put the inTank media basket there. It's 3 levels deep and forces water through the media before going sideways. The top is a fine filter pad cut to size, then either carbon or chemipure, then Seachem Matrix for biological. You can even pull out the middle shelf, so it's a bigger gap, and put cheato in there with those small magnetic led's.

That first area should be where most of your media is.

That skimmer you mentioned is made by Reef Glass. I had the Fluval skimmer and was very unimpressed. This nano skimmer from Reef Glass works very well. I've been running it about 2 weeks now and I'm happy.

I just got done with cycling my tank, so I'll be getting some live stocks soon.

Anyway, I would recommend a Aqueon Quietflow Submersible Aquarium Utility Pump 1200. It's rated for 106 to 317 gallons per hour. It will be more powerful than what some had recommended. It fits nicely in the back.

Also I got the 3rd chamber inTank media basket, there will be various water level for every set-up, depending on what media you got in there. I have filter pad-1st chamber, another filter pad then chemipure blue-2nd chamber, then matrix in a bag at the bottom chamber.

With the lights, I have good reports with the NaNoBoX Mini ReeF Tide plus M, I hope to get it soon. Will let you know how it is with the set-up.

Mine grew then went away after a week. That was a month into cycling. Then I waited another two weeks to make sure all was okay still.

@Will Godfrey this thread might help ya figure out how to set up your filter and what some experienced reefers use in theirs.

this is my fluval evo, open top with AI prime light and 2 powerhead (jebao rw-4 and sw-2)
Would like to know how you have your AI Prime settings. I will be changing to that in the next few days and I'm not sure if I have to do a "acclimation" setting or what. Any advice would be appreciated. The instructions with the AI Prime aren't very explanatory.
