Trying to get the Yellow Sea Whip to extend its polyps again. The hermet crabs usually clean off any algae. It may be sensitive to the Green hairy mushrooms at its base.

Haven’t posted in awhile. Tanks been going for 2.5 years and been thru 2 moves and a heater explosion. Still original clowns that went in the tank day one. Tough little guys.

Upgraded my Fluval 2.0 to an AI prime HD

Third Day with the new lights in acclimation mode running the BRS AB+ schedule without red and green and cold white reduced to 10, Tank has 2 months and 19 days running

New Fluval Edge I set up about 2 months ago. My firefish and BTA were getting bullied nearly to death by the clowns in my main display, so I decided to give them their own digs. Very much still going through the new tank uglies, but Params have been very stable so far and the nem is on the mend (you can’t see it because it’s behind the rock). Firefish is also no longer looking emeaciated and is much braver and more social after being given his own space.

I got the official seal of approval today from a professional reef maintenance team! I hired them because no matter what we do in life, I think we all need to be told it’s the right thing . I wanted maintenance, but I also wanted to have everything checked, including equipment.
We all listen to so much advice from others , but no one knows what trials we go through daily in our own personal nano tanks. Like Ryan from BRS said in his seminar, he can give advice, but can’t be our personal mentor. In a room full of hobbyists only several had tanks more than 2 years. Even fewer 5 and 10. Find someone in your community that can say that- Ask them... I did and I feel so much better. It is the hardest thing I have ever done. I am so proud to say my research and reefing connections paid off.
