Another swap on the Vette. Broken base grille to OEM Z06 grille. Gets rid of the braces look and the cooling is functional with my Z51 package! (Yes, she needs a bath, badly)

Not letting this thread die! Finally got my carbon fiber splitter and skirts on the car this weekend. Good thing I was a couple beers deep, or drilling out spots for the rivets would have been a lot harder...







On another note.... Guess who's pregnant with our first! Had to do something special for the announcement...

And here's how much clearance the car originally had on my driveway:



My poor pregnant wife got to stand outside in her PJs while I slowly made it down the driveway after putting on the skirts while I repeatedly yelled out the window asking if I was "STILL GOOD?!"

She wasn't all that thrilled when I said "Good, I was worried I was going to have to get the driveway re-graded"

I picked up a new project yesterday. 47 CJ2A, in reasonably clean, and ORIGINAL condition. Yeah, it needs some rust repair, the paint came out of a rattle can, and no, it doesn't run... but it's all there, and the essentials are in excellent condition. Looking forward to a fun project :)

Had to settle for a 2015 GT / PP due being impatient and not finding a local dealer willing to deal on a GT 350 without asking for 20K+ ADM :( In any case my daily driver and HPDE / track car. Come winter may sell her and pick up a Raptor. Great car to drive long distances. Several trips from Northern California to Vegas then over to LA and back. Next trip my daughter and I are planning to take her to Key West, Florida :) Figured we will hit Southern states heading down to Vegas, Tuscon, San Antonio, Tallahassee, Miami, Key West, then back stopping maybe in New Orleans. Who knows - my better half thinks we are crazy.

I got a 2019 RAM 1500 a few weeks back. I previously had an '08 Ford Explorer that I planned on keeping for a long time, but it broke down in the middle of nowhere during a recent trip (not the first time) and it frustrated my wife so much that she insisted I get something new.
