I believe that I read somewhere that inverts, such as shrimp and crabs, require some sort of iodine supplement, in order to molt properly. I have two shrimp, a peppermint and a coral banded. They both molt just fine, the peppermint is about ounce a week and the coral banded is about ounce a month. Should I just leave this supplementing alone or would it be recommended?

yup no reason to supplement if you're doing water changes.
