1400 mag
490 ca

i have had cleaner shrimp before but no one can answer. this is what it currently looks like

if you look at antenna you can see breaks then they break off. others i have had done this and i know they molt and re grow. this is different they break all the way then the shrimp will die. It is like they are having a hard time molting or the shell is being striped of something. I would love some one to tell me what it is how it works and how to fix. I have not added any copper to the tank. also had problems in past with crabs molten too and dieing.

thank you

This looks a shrimp that may be starting its molt.
Also calcium a little high - should be 450
And salinity low - should be about 1.025

Maybe think about adding Iodine to your tank. Iodine is supposed play an important part in molting. just a guess on my part though.

just an update on shrimp so I have black sand in my tank talked to a sea chem expert reccommended sea gel because it helps eliminate heavy metals in tank from the sand. well 2 weeks later he looks way better.
