Shriveled candy cane

The day before yesterday it looked great, not happy yesterday and worse today. Noticed this hole in it today? Currently doing a seachem reef dip. Water levels all the same for the last few months. Sorry for poor quality pic. This site won't let me post image from my phone. Is it a gonner?

I’ve seen them bounce back. One of my candy cane colonies fell into my ricordea garden and it started to shrivel up and die but a week later it started to pull out of it and now a couple months later it’s bigger than it was before...

Is anything else in the tank showing any signs of stress

No, honestly everything else looks awesome, mushrooms, hammer, frog spawn, palys, yellow polyps, war coral, acan, anemone, dendro.
