I have a Poseidon 200 on my reef tank, and have it setup on the "orp setting" on my Apex...only problem is, that it doesn't give me control to have the ozone shut off on my Feed cycle. I want to ozone to shut off when my skimmer and my pumps do when I am feeding or doing maintenance. Any help to program this so it shuts off on Feed Cycle A would be great. Here is a screen shot of my current setting.

If you click on the outlet in fusion and then click on advanced, you should see the code that the wizard came up with for orp control. You can then add a line like if feeda on then off. I don’t remember if it’s feeda or feed_a but it will auto populate as you type or show a dropdown

Edit. As mentioned below it is 000 not on as I had stated. My memory isn’t what it used to be….or was never good to begin with

You just need to find your ozone outlet and add the following

If FeedA 000 Then OFF

I had mine set up to only run at night so I had the following:

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Time 00:01 to 01:00 Then ON
If Output RTN_Pump_L = OFF Then OFF
If Output Maintenance = ON Then OFF
If ORP > 385 Then OFF
If ORP < 235 Then ON

So I didn’t need to shut down for feeding.

Yeah, it would have to be “advanced” in order to do the programming, but yiu can add the orp reading for shutting it off and on so it’s like you have the orp control anyways.
So like this?

You want to add the set off on line 2

The Set OFF command in Neptune Apex programming defines a default baseline state of OFF for an outlet or virtual output, which remains active unless overridden by subsequent If conditions lower in the code

do you mean the "Fallback OFF" needs to be on line 2?? sorry, Im not following you

Ok, I think I have it...Here is what I did:

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If ORP > 330 Then OFF
If ORP < 305 Then ON
If FEEDA 000 Then OFF

So, if it's set this way, and my current ORP reading is 320, shouldn't it be ON now? My Apex now shows that outlet as OFF.

Sorry… I had it wrong for your set up.

That worked for mine where I had it manually set to come on at a certain time.

The fallback off is the default condition your outlet will be set to if power is lost and restored.

“Set” Establishes the default, baseline state of an outlet (ON, OFF, or a specific profile) during normal operation

So maybe for you, try

Fallback OFF
Set ON
If ORP > 330 Then OFF
If ORP < 305 Then ON
If FEEDA 000 Then OFF

And see how it goes.

I Dont mean to come across like im a wizard at programming the apex. Ive had to figure things out for me and have seemed to get things working for my set up.

I appreciate the help, I'll give this one a try and see what happens.

Ill add to this. I'd make it:

If FeedA 005 Then OFF
This way, the ozone will stay off for 5 extra minutes after the feed mode expires. This will get the sump time to settle and water levels to stabilize for whatever method youre injecting the ozone. And based off what you actually feed, increase that number for the defer time. For example, if feeding phytoplankton, you might want it to be:

If FeedA 120 Then OFF

So the phytoplankton isnt oxidized imemdiately.
