This guy’s been perfect until this am. Then he got sucked against a power head (assuming because he’s weak). We freed him up and he swam a bit but then fatigued quickly so we protected him in an acclimation box so nobody would bother him. All over the course of maybe 6 hours. No obvious markings of disease and no other recent Illness in the tank.
I have an entire pharmacy of meds to use. What should I do first? Setting up hospital tank as we speak. In what order and with what meds should i treat? Thank you!

Here’s a pic once i transferred him to hospital tank. Looks like he’s a little traumatized on one side. How best to treat? Thank you!!

Those red-ish areas are a problem with CBBs. Treat with NFG powder ASAP. It works the fastest and has the highest success rate. Time is not your friend here.

Thank you @Big G for the reply! I just dosed the NFG but I’m fearful it’s too late. He’s barely alive- gills barely moving and laying on the bottom on his side. Poor little guy. He was doing so well!
What do you think is the pathogen? Are my other fish at risk?

Thanks again!

This is a huge problem with CBBs. You almost need to dose the NFG immediately with them. It's some sort of a internal bacterial infection. By the time the redness shows, it's usually too late. Sorry.
