Decided to add a couple more Bimacs, then ramped up to 2.0ppm copper over 4 days and maintained for 30 days. All 5 are active and eating well. All are females and still establishing hierarchy, no signs of a male yet, although the larger one on the bottom has always been the dominant, and most likely will become male. Chases the one in the upper right almost constantly. The other 3 seem to have fallen in line, and sometimes chase each other. Did a 67% water change yesterday and will do the first round of Prazi today. So far so good.

Was able to get a better pic, and confirmed the bimac in the top front is turning male with the start of a black spot on its dorsal fin. Will be fun to watch the complete change.

Final follow up. All 5 bimacs have made it through QT, and have been in the DT for the past few days. My tangs and angels have been getting along with them after a day or so, happy about that.

Some pics.

Gathered all 5 together in my fish trap so they could all be released together:

My Emperor Angel saga has continued. Here is my new Emperor. He has been in quarantine for about a week now, along with a couple of Ocellaris clowns. They are currently in 2ppm Copper and Metro, and are doing well so far. I am being very cautious with him, and all my fish going forward. I've learned my lesson.

My 6-Banded Angel has been doing well, has shown no further signs of disease over the past month, and has been thriving. Here he is at feeding time.

They will be joined around mid-October if all goes well and per schedule...

3 years later, my Emperor Angel is doing well. A bit of HLLE around one eye, but fixing nutrient issues, adding vitamins, and a consistent diet, has it slowly improving.
