Sick Nem

Just got this guy to rehome. He is on a rock with 2 other Nems. I new he was unhealthy when I got him. His tips do seem to have bubbled up more but his mouth has opened more also. My water parameters are spot on and water flow is average where he is at. The rest I got are doing great. There was a lot of algae die off in the water not good flow from the original owner.
What is the recoup time for them or how long can he take to show signs of getting better or worse?
If he falls off I will most likely remove him if that’s the safest bet. Thanks

Recovery is very hard to judge, time wise.

If it falls off, consider doing a small holding container. I've kept anemones is a 16oz glass for weeks. Just do 2 or 3 water changes of tank water every day. Also try to keep the water temp close to normal. I set up a 'stand' in the tank and set the glass on it sticking up out of the water.

You are most welcome. I love anemones and I've found them to have wide ranging personalities or behaviors. And in a tank that is mature and well maintained, they seem to be quite hearty.

I came in here expecting a bad-a anemone and didn't expect a literal sick nem lol.

Hope you can fix it up but I've learned that sometimes it's best to leave them alone. Especially since it's a rescue and you brought it home to better conditions. Give it time and it will be fine

Since this is a rock flower, the only thing required is good lighting and good water. If it can recover, it will on its own. I have over 15 rock flowers and they are super resilient. Best course of action is to leave it be and let it do its thing.

I have seen them in far far worse states than what this one is. Recovery should be easy.
