Sick Swallowtail

I picked up a swallowtail from the LFS a few days ago. One of her pectoral fins appeared damaged. But now the other is the same. She now has slothing around her right eye. She is eating well. Any suggestions on how to treat her?

This fish appears to be a victim of aggression and needs to be isolated. For the eye, best is Maracyn as pictured below with air stone added. Treat for at least 5 days. Isolation will allow fins to repair themselves but also determine who the aggressor may be

She has been in a qt tank with the little bellus since I picked her up on Saturday. I’m assuming the damage happened at the LFS. There seems to be no aggression from the bellus at all. Would you recommend Maracyn over Kanaplex? B/c I do have that on hand.

I'm also seeing it struggle to swim downward. That's a sign of swim bladder over-inflation, something that freshly collected Genicanthus are notorious for developing. These fish are caught at depth, and it takes too long to properly decompress them, so divers just needle their swim bladders. This leads to infection and then gas build up in some of the fish. Since it's internal, it is very difficult to treat.

The fin issue is a separate problem.....
