Hello everyone.

I've just had an ICP back and have high silicon
I don't have any brown issues in the tank
What's other effects does high levels of silicates have on the tank?
What's the best way to remove it ?

Why would I recommend dosing silica? Largely because creatures in our tanks use it, the concentrations in our tanks (at least in mine) are below natural levels, and the sponges, mollusks, and diatoms may not be getting enough to thrive.

similar issue here today as well. RO test showed 0 silicon but my tank showed about 600. Interested in seeing recommendations to help
