Sure, NP. Want me to make a better one that shows the full tank?

That would be awesome! Can you private message me once you have it done? :)

LOL, don't .... like the Mirror of Erised .... Reefers have wasted away before it, not knowing if what they have seen is real, or even possible ......

BTW, in those videos the colors are mostly accurate except for the anthias that always look a lot more saturated in the pics and videos than they appear to the naked eye. Not really sure why.

No build thread is complete without at least one HP reference.

Been adding yellow tail damsels to my tank in groups, now up to 36 give or take. Looks really cool. Here's on group of them. Planning on adding 10 azures shortly.

Have you done this before? I would LOVE a school of YTD. I imagine you neeed a lot to spread out aggression? how many do you think I could in put in my 180?

I have kept groups of them in the past .... not 36 though. I have never found the YT to be particularly aggressive; more 'chippy' and you are right that numbers diffuse that. I would think you could do 20 in a 180. Might want to look at azures as well; they're about equivalent in temperament and even nicer looking.

I would wager any damsels in the Chrysiptera family would be fine. They are typically less aggressive. I would only do this if you have a mature tank with plenty of rock and coral so they have refuge, homes, and places to dart in and out of. ca1ore's tank is 400+ gallons and as you can see pretty mature with regards to coral growth. I think that is key.

I'll be doing something similar but mixing in Talbots and Azures more than likely but I am a ways off with the mature tank - 8 months if not more with regards to what I want with coral growth.

I am looking forward to seeing more videos of these guys.
