I'm writing this in hopes to help others that maybe looking for a simple and cheap Water change option for Nanos.
I currently have a 15g AIO. I do a 2 gal water change weekly or if I miss a week a 4 gallon W/c.
This is the simple and easy method I have used for consistent results.
Start with 2 gals in one container, weigh out and add salt. measuring in grams have produced consistent results. I also add my baking soda at this point to raise my ALK from 7 to about 9. Using a gram scale. I use an extra heater and mini pump in the container to bring to temp and let circulate for a couple hours.
The second container of the same type I use to siphon the tank water out with a mark on the side. Two gals out, then two gals in. after water is prepared the whole water change takes less than 15 mins.

My set up is similar but I use a rolling table to move the containers from one place to another. I am not a spring chicken any more.
