I’ve had mine for a good year and a half if not 2. I just replaced a squeeky head and ordered 3 more from their website. I was shocked at how reasonable the spares were. No issues, its simple, easy to use and it does what it says. A rare thing these days. I will add that with any doser, calibrate it every few months minimum. I got caught big-time with calcium and part c being way off because i didn’t calibrate it on schedule. Thats not a Simplicity issue at all, calibrate any doser regularly!

The rollers inside the head. I do this regularly. Helps to keep the dosing smooth. Allows the tubing to also last longer. Little bit goes along way.
thanks for this tip, I've just been doing my best to ignore the squeaking

I have had a few people report using a little sand paper on the spindle of the motor (remove head, and roughen up the spindle) has helped. Of course as others have said replacement heads are always an option as well.

That is why I was a little surprised at the recommendation to use silicone grease. My thought was that friction is needed between the steel shaft of the motor and the plastic rollers to operate. I was guessing that at best silicone would cause some amount of slippage which would then affect accuracy of the dose amount; at worst, rendering the doser useless. But worth a shot I suppose (same for trying the sand-paper).
