I need to build a table over this sump. The plan is to lag bolt a 2x4 to the wall and add two legs on the opposite side. I’m think 2x4 frame plywood top and might use some strong ties in the corners for extra rigidity. Am I asking for corrosion issues or will the galvanize hold up well. The closet does have an exhaust fan on a humidity controller.

What will be on the table? If not a lot of weight I would keep it simple with just a 2x4 frame for the top and legs under it.
