I'm starting a new build after being out of the hobby for 15 years. I'm planning on having my sump in a separate room behind my tank and run the plumbing through a wall. I'm thinking about putting my sump on the bottom shelf of a metal, industrial rack like the one pictured below (rated to hold 2000#'s). My sump is a Trigger CR44. My intent would be to replace the wire support with painted plywood and use a foam pad between the sump and wood. Has anyone done anything like this, any suggestions, recommendations, etc.? Thanks for the help.
