Hey everyone! To make a long story short, I've been hunting down as many single species cultures of micro-feeders (like pods, rots, phyto, etc.) as I can find available in the US and compiling a list of them for future use. I've found ~30 confirmed feeders so far, and I have several hundred more potential feeders that I need to look through (that's not an exaggeration - it'll take me a while). If you guys know of other feeders that can be sourced, let me know. Similarly, if you know of any place that sells live krill species, let me know.

If you are having trouble finding a source for any of the below, you can let me know and I'll share a source or two for them with you.

Anyway, I apologize if the list isn't perfectly organized, but here's what I have so far:

Key:
sp. = Unspecified species
@ = Available from multiple places/sites (that I've found)
+ = Commonly used for/Is confirmedly useful for breeding (that I've found)

Phytoplankton:
-Tetraselmis sp.@+
-Nannocholoropsis oculata+ - Live Aquaria
-Nannocholoropsis sp.@+
-Tisochrysis lutea - Reed Mariculture
-Isochrysis galbana@+
-Pavlova sp. - Reed Mariculture
-Rhodomonas sp. - Pod Your Reef
-Porphyridium cruentum - Algae Research Supply
-Dunaliella salina+ - Algae Research Supply

Pods, Rotifers, Etc.:
-Brachionus rotundiformis (S-type rotifers)@+
-Brachionus plicatilis (L-type rotifers)@+
-Artemia salina (Baby Brine Shrimp)@+
-Amphipods (genus unspecified) sp.@
-Sphaeromatid Isopods (genus unspecified) sp. - Aquaculture Nursery Farms
-Americamysis bahia (Mysis Shrimp)+ - MBL Aquaculture
-Mysis Shrimp (genus unspecified) sp.@+
-Euterpina acutifrons - Live Aquaria
-Pseudodiaptomus pelagicus@
-Parvocalanus crassirostris@+
-Tisbe biminiensis@
-Acartia tonsa@
-Tigriopus Californicus@
-Apocyclops panamensis@

Dinoflagellates:
-Pyrocystis fusiformis@
-Pyrocystis lunula - UTEX (Carolina also carries this sometimes, but you don't know if you're getting fusiformis of lunula when you order from them)
-Pyrocystis noctiluca - UTEX

Diatoms:
-Phaeodactylum tricornutum+ - UTEX
-Thalassiosira pseudonana@
-Thalassiosira weissflogii@
-Thalassiosira sp.@

Not in feeding quantities, but as culture starters, Florida Aqua Farms has a number of those phytoplankton options as well as some rotifers and things, but Carolina, a company who typically sells to educational institutions for saltwater biology lessons, actually carries a number of diatoms/dinoflagellates I had trouble finding elsewhere - got both Thalassiosira and Chaetceros from them along with some Pyrocystis just for fun.
