I have mainly LPS (zoas, acans, Duncan, candy cane and hammer). I want to get one SPS frag. Will I be ok with weekly / bi-weekly water changes for the SPS or will I have to dose?

I asked a friend and he said I would be ok with just water changes with a single SPS frag but wanted to double check here.

My tank parameters are below;
Red Sea blue bucket salt
Sg: 1.026
Ca: 400
dKH: 7
Mg: 1320
NitrATes: <5ppm

Yeah with just one frag you will be totally fine with wager changes. Unless you have a massive amount of coralline. What’s your PO4 at?

That I don’t know. I’ve searched for a good kit but didn’t find one that really stood out like other parameter test kits.

I was thinking of just going with the cheap salifert? Any other kit I should look at?
