Six line wrasse has no tail

Last week I noticed my six line's tail was all frayed and had whit stuff on it so I removed him and quarantined with KanaPlex. He is eating and seems happy but his tail is now completely gone. Is there anything more I can be doing for him, any advice would be great!

Find the culprit that did the damage and consider removal.

I hope I am wrong but this doesn’t look like it will survive for long. That it is still swimming is unbelievable.

Sorry to see. This was an injury that continued on to a bacterial infection that then invaded healthy tissue. With the bone exposed like that, the tail won’t regrow. If the infection continues, the fish will die from sepsis.

I dont believe this is able to heal. The question is who did this. Something clowns. hawkfish and damsels would do
