Skimmer cap bubbling off

Any ideas why my skimmer cap keeps bubbling off and then the bubbles overflow? Attached is picture. My water level and water level in skimmer are at the level recommended.

Id start with giving that skimmer cup a good cleaning

i clean it every other day and then it does this

Anything being added to the tank recently? Did the skimmer recently start doing this?

Put some type of weight on it. It will still bubble through the holes but keep the lid in place. Your skimmet seems appropriate. You may just have a lot of Junk in your tank.

Are you dosing any chemicals? Any outside chemicals like cleaning agents possibly enter the tank? Make sure the air line and venturi valve aren’t clogged. My protein skimmer was constantly overflowing recently and what stopped it for me was taking the whole thing out and giving it a good cleaning.
