The foam in my skimmer has been out of control since I started carbon dosing vinegar. I tried skimming wetter and there is less foam, but the skimmer needs to be emptied constantly and the skimmate is weak tea.

Any tips to stop this from happening? It's a Rea Sea skimmer

Can you dial the skimmer down? Also, do you have the skimmer at the proper height? Carbon dosing can make skimmers go crazy due to the increase in bacteria and DOC in the water column.

It's a Red Sea skimmer in a Red Sea sump. It came with the tank. Pretty sure it's at the proper height. I could try turning down the pump, but I've been trying to avoid that as the skimmer is pulling air from outside and I didn't want my pH to drop.
