I think the web is still up on these.
The set up was giving to me. 2 skimmers, 2 pumps, and 2 skimmer waste chambers. The pair of Iwakis look great! Send me the link if you’re not buying .
Yeah, I’m just wondering if these will be big enough for my tank , 340 gallons.I inherited one recently and it seems awesome.. still have yet to set it up yet

are you planning to run both? depending on your bioload, I think you should be good.Yeah, I’m just wondering if these will be big enough for my tank , 340 gallons.
Possibly both yes. Won’t be too heavy stocked on fish, and going to run a large refugium.are you planning to run both? depending on your bioload, I think you should be good.
this guy is actively running it and has a great review of the skimmer. not sure what size system he is running in. the bigger the pump, the more efficient it will be. just make sure to have a good size external collection bucketPossibly both yes. Then I may use the cor 20 I have and use these pumps on a mixing/water change station lolthis guy is actively running it and has a great review of the skimmer. not sure what size system he is running in. the bigger the pump, the more efficient it will be. just make sure to have a good size external collection bucket

i ordered a Sicce SDC 9.0 for this.. 23' max head. up to 2500 GPH.. Also, pro tip from my friend. every so often, drip some RODI into the venturi air hose to clean out the salt build-up. he recommended something like 2 drips a second for an hour or something like that. Then I may use the cor 20 I have and use these pumps on a mixing/water change station lol

I love the snowYou know if you get sick of the snow you can come Palm Springs and bear gifts like one of those skimmer.
Thanks for the info. These will probably just go on the shelf with the rest of my collection of stuff I’ll never use.Seems like a mix of older/newer. MTC switched away from the blue acrylic about 15 years ago in favor of black. Newer MVX line used mazzei injectors rather than the older Beckett’s.
i hear these things along with the LifeReef ones are work horses. I suggest you try 1 out for a while to see how it works out before spending money on a new one. In parallel, you can be doing the research as to which skimmer would be the perfect one. I just looked at the pictures a little closer and noticed they are missing the venturis? Here is mine. I’m going to run it in the sump instead of external. Thanks for the info. These will probably just go on the shelf with the rest of my collection of stuff I’ll never use.
The skimmer seems to be a tough decision for my tank, trying to figure out a different option then reef octopus, but not really working out. May need to just bite the bullet and buy one.
