Skimmer issues

Hey guys,

My skimmer is causing air bubbles in my sump.
First time using a skimmer in sump so wondering if anyone could help tell me what is causing this

Thanks
if its a new skimmer it will take time to break in and get gunked up a bit to stop the bubbles unless you dont have it adjusted correctly or sitting at wrong water level. Plus always going to be some bubbles. Let it disperse through something to break it up if possible

Check to make sure the skimmer is sitting at the right height (read through the manual to see what the recommended level is). Other than that, as manikin advice, it takes time for a new skimmer to break in (ie, can take up to too weeks to operate normally).

All the advice above are valid, I would also say that if air bubbles stay in sump and don’t get into display tank you are OK
