SKIMMER NOISE

Hello, recently my Aquamax 1.5 HOB skimmer has been making this noise ! Can anyone explained to me what to do to make it silent again ? ( already cleaned and took apart)

it sounds like vibration - is the plastic vibrating against the tank glass? if so you can add some rubber sheet at the areas of contact to dull the vibration.

Doesn’t seem to be close to the glass sounds like it coming from the intake pipe

Sounds like it has a large air bubble trapped. Have you tried burping it?

Depending how much room you have, either:
1. Rock it slightly side to side or front to back.
2. Give it a gentle shake
3. Power cycle it

See if you see it spit out any air bubbles when you do it.
