Skimmer or no?

Thanks pretty cool. Think it works pretty good for your needs?
It works well. I had my nutrients balanced out but it was being exported in the hair algae and cyano. The hair algae is almost gone and the cyano is on its way out. The nutrients will export themselves somewhere. I would rather have it done with the algae I chose. I like the color on my rocks but the hair algae gives me anxiety .

Personally think that they maybe more trouble than they are worth. But I’m no expert
Agree! Simpler is most always better. Skimmer equals more
$$, more maintenance,
more headaches.

On my IM40, I don’t run a skimmer. My export is water changes. Zero issues, tank has CSB’s, leathers, zoas and LPS.
