I have a 28 gal. HQI with a JBJ skimmer. This set up just is too much trouble. Is there a HOB skimmer that work good with this JBJ tank? There just isn't enough room in the back compartment for a skimmer. It fits but just too tight for me. I don't have room for a sump and skimmer. So the only option is a Hang on back skimmer. Green algae hair is starting to grow in my tank because this skimmer just over flows, leaks, or just doesn't pull stuff out. Every time I go to open the lid of the tank I have to take off the skimmer cup. Then the skimmer clamp falls in the back and I spend an hour trying to find it. This last time it fell I can't find it at all. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. Can't see in the back well enough. Used mirror, lights, arm, I give up. Suggestions please.

I'm running the Reef Octopus BH-1000 on my 26g. So worth the $189 I paid. External pump that you cannot hear at all!
