Skimmer recommendations for 40g

I’m looking to replace my SCA 301 skimmer and am wondering if there might be a better option out there for my 40g breeder tank. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Ice cap K1-50 or K2-50
Can be use as hang on or in sump
I hung the k2-50 in the sump when I had one
