Hey guys, I've never had a skimmer before. Never needed one really. I feed sparingly. However, I have a AIO tank with a 5 1/2 inch back chamber width. The length doesn't matter as much. Its seperated into 3 chambers, but I can empty the middle chamber and put the skimmer there, more than 15 inch length. The tank is 15inch tall.
I really wanted a SWC 120, but its a bit too big and won't fit. I need this skimmer to be very quiet. Thats the number one factor for me. I heard the SWC was near silent? or is that just rumors?

I want to incorporate some carbon dosing, thats my biggest incentive for getting a skimmer.

Thanks,
Steve

What kind of AIO is it?? There are a lot of skimmer models made specifically for AIO tanks. I have a BioCube 29g and the Tunze 9002 fits perfectly in the second chamber.

+1 on the Tunze 9002. I rerouted the air intake and used a needle valve for adjustment and it's now virtually silent and isn't as dang touchy.
