Looks a lot like a Bubble Maggus. I know the 5 and 7 need about 8 1/2-9" of water to operate properly

It's a 5, and I read that the manufacturers recommendation is 81/2-9, however many people find 7-71/2 to be the sweet spot. I got lucky because when I first turned it on it overflowed for days. I turned it off and waited about 5 days and when I plugged it in that was happening, which is why I was uncertain if it was supposed to do that lol
