Hi everyone,
I'm a week post a prazi pro treatment, + 25% water change, + running carbon and gfo again, and my skimmer is still going nuts. I'm waiting on new filters for my rodi to do another water change, any thoughts on something else that would work? Shouldnt the carbon have removed it by now? Thanks! (Its a 220G so I cant just run to the lfs and buy water.)

I don't think carbon will remove the alcohol that's in Prazipro. It will biodegrade over time but the one time I used it in the DT it was a royal pain to get my skimmer up and working again. Water change and patience is about all I know to do.

PraziPro is basically pure organics/carbons. It'll take a week or two for your skimmer to calm down.

You can always do a water change as the treatment has been completed. Unfortunately, your skimmer will go nuts for a few more days.

I recall when I had my tank, I just took the collection cup off of my skimmer and allowed it to run/overflow for a few days. Kept the oxygen/pH levels good in my tank.

Ugh. Seriously, never again. Thank you all for the help. I am having about a 6 month hard run with tank difficulties.
