Hey guys! I have had my mandarin goby for about a year and a half now. When I first got him I only fed frozen brine and marine cuisine occasionally. About a month ago I randomly decided to purchase copepods (Tigriopus californicus)… which I am now thanking was a big mistake. Now my Gabi is all of a sudden very skinny to the point of his bones showing but it looks to me as if he is still eating. So I’m not sure if it’s something internal or if he’s eating but just picking at what copepods are left and not eating the frozen food anymore. I just purchased more copepods and baby Brian hoping that this will help. but it has only been about three days… any suggestions or should I just keep on this path? I also thought about getting some cyclops to see if that helps as well. Is it possible that he is just nearing the end of his life? I’m not sure what else to do but my heart breaks for my baby!

Try pod hotels because it sounds like he probably smashed on all them pods the first day. That’s good if he’s eating frozen I would just make sure you see him eat while the pods get established in your tank.
