I just got a new read sea max e 170 and noticed that the top of the tank is roughly 1.25 in farther away from the wall than the bottom of my stand is, what can i do about this while still keeping it stable?

Use a level to determine what's not square....the wall or the floor. If it's the floor, shim the bottom of the stand to level it out.

I add just just enough water (couple inches) so you can eyeball the bottom rim against the water then shim it.

I've used plastic toilet bowl shims.
